6-month Project Manager contract opportunity building out a new high priority solution for a global brand with on site work in Vancouver

6-month contract Project Manager contract.
High profile retail technology program.
Highly respected brand located in Vancouver with hybrid work, 4 days a week in office.

What & Why:
As a result of investment in technology our client is looking to add a Project Manager to their team. In this role you'll be supporting a strategic initiative called focused on enhancing the product hierarchy and redesigning the Global Merchants workflow. You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of cross-functional technology projects, managing scope, timelines, and budgets while maintaining alignment across a complex, matrixed organization. The role requires a disciplined approach to incident and release management, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to balance competing business needs against technical constraints with minimal supervision. This is an ideal role for a project manager with a strong record of delivery.

They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment with 4 days a week in office.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

5+ years of project management experience, including at least 12 months as a Scrum Master and demonstrated experience managing $500K+ budgets.
Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and SharePoint; proficiency across both Agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity and competing priorities within a large-scale, rapidly evolving enterprise environment.
Strong communication and analytical skills with demonstrated experience in incident management, release management, and enterprise system implementation.

Compensation:
This role pays between $65-78 per hour.
