6-month Project Manager contract opportunity building out corporate financial systems with on site work in Vancouver

What & Why:
We are seeking a Project Manager for our global client corporate finance systems team. In this role you’ll support Corporate Finance Systems, managing medium-to-large projects across Oracle EBS Financials, Coupa S2P, Coupa Expense, and Lucernex (Accruent). You'll plan and monitor projects with complex scope and multiple workstreams, managing budget, resources, milestones, and inter-dependencies while collaborating with business stakeholders to define objectives and success criteria. Responsibilities include leading agile teams, coordinating with external 3rd party vendors (onshore and offshore), maintaining project documentation, and ensuring clear task assignment and tracking. This role requires strong financial systems experience, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms for senior leaders.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have an on site work environment.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

5+ years of project management experience, with proven record managing medium-to-large financial application projects involving Tier 1 ERP Accounting Systems such as Oracle EBS Financials, SAP S/4HANA, or JD Edwards (JDE).
Experience leading agile teams in a global organization, preferably within a project/product matrixed structure at a major retailer, with strong JIRA/Confluence proficiency.
Proven ability to manage external 3rd party vendor implementations with onshore and offshore teams, including budget, resources, and deliverables within project schedules.
Strong understanding of integration and financial reporting projects, with excellent communication skills to build cross-functional relationships and translate technical/PM concepts into business-oriented terms for senior leaders (PMP certification an asset).

Compensation:
This role pays between $85-100 per hour.
