We are seeking a Purchase Order Management Lead role for our global retail organization client. This role sits within the Supply Planning team and focuses on translating supply plans into accurate, timely purchase orders for Finished Goods vendors. You'll analyze buy requirements, validate data inputs, resolve exceptions by collaborating with Planning, Procurement, and Vendors, then generate and release POs with precision. Beyond execution, you'll maintain dashboards to monitor PO performance metrics, document and follow SOPs, and support continuous improvement initiatives as the company undergoes a major transformation in processes and systems. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable to evolving systems, and excited by process improvement in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. . The ideal candidate will also have the ability to learn quickly, exercise good common sense, and possess the foresight to make informed decisions while keeping the bigger picture in mind.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have an on site work environment.
You:You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- 3+ years of experience in supply planning, procurement, or purchase order management, with proven ability to translate plans into executable orders and manage vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms, with ability to analyze buy requirements and validate data for accuracy and completeness.
- Experience with dashboarding and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to monitor PO performance metrics and maintain accurate operational records.
- Strong process orientation and documentation skills, including experience creating and maintaining SOPs, identifying exceptions, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in changing environments.
This role pays between $40-50 per hour.
