Job Description

6 month contract Program Manager contract role on a long term, highly innovative program with a global enterprise organization

  • Highly innovative program with a global enterprise organization.
  • Contract Program Manager role.
  • On-site work arrangement in Vancouver, 4 days a week onsite.
What & Why:
As a result of investment in technology and new systems implementation our client is looking to add a Program Manager to their team to help drive innovation forward.  You'll lead large-scale, multi-season programs spanning design tooling (Adobe workflows, FlexPLM), digital asset platforms, APIs, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure, translating GTM seasonal milestones like Global Line Finalization, Global Line Architecture, and Creative Kickoff into sequenced technical delivery plans. Operating at a senior altitude, you'll partner with Director, VP, and SVP-level stakeholders across Design, Product Development, Engineering, Architecture, Data, and Security teams to manage architectural complexity, mitigate technical risks, and ensure delivery predictability despite evolving requirements. This role requires deep technical fluency, executive communication skills, and the ability to serve as the primary escalation owner for risks threatening seasonal execution or enterprise outcomes.

Who:
This client is one of the most recognizable Canadian brands, a true Vancouver success story who has expanded globally. They are well known for their corporate culture and has won major awards for their accomplishments. They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment, 4 days a week on site.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

  • 10-14+ years of Technical Program Management or engineering-adjacent leadership experience, with proven track record delivering complex, cross-platform programs with enterprise visibility and material business impact.
  • Strong technical fluency across modern tech stack, including front-end systems, APIs, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure, with ability to partner with senior engineering and architecture leaders on system trade-offs and technical debt.
  • Experience operating in global, distributed team environments, managing multiple engineering teams across time zones and driving outcome-oriented execution using RAID management, milestone health, and delivery metrics.
  • Executive stakeholder management expertise, with demonstrated ability to translate technical complexity into clear business impact for Director, VP, and SVP-level leaders, frame decision options, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams (Design, Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security).
Compensation:
This role pays between $95-110 per hour.
