Manager, Financial Reporting

Title: Manager, Financial Reporting Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)

Salary: $110,000 - $115,000 Job Type: Full‑Time

About the Opportunity

This role is built for a CPA who wants full ownership of public‑company financial reporting without the grind of traditional busy seasons. You’ll lead financial statements, MD&A drafting, consolidations, and technical accounting for a portfolio of high‑growth, multi‑entity clients. It’s a high‑autonomy role with capital‑markets exposure, meaningful impact, and a clear runway toward future CFO‑track opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing

Own quarterly and annual reporting - financial statements, MD&A, and disclosure.
Run multi‑entity consolidations - clean models, foreign‑currency translation, complex structures.
Deliver sharp analysis - balance‑sheet, P&L, trends, and red‑flag variances.
Guide planning cycles - budgets, rolling forecasts, and leadership‑ready insights.
Lead audits smoothly - audit plans, airtight support, and external auditor coordination.

Qualifications

CPA designation (required)
Strong public‑company audit and/or financial reporting experience
Proven analytical and problem‑solving ability
Comfort with multi‑entity groups and technical accounting
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

US GAAP experience, COSO Internal Control Certificate and Corporate income tax exposure considered a bonus
