6-month contract Jamf Platform Engineer working with the enterprise mobility team of a global organization

6-month contract Platform Engineer role.
Working with a growing enterprise mobility team.
Primarily in office work environment with 4 days a week in office.

What & Why:
Due to growth we are looking to add a mid-to-senior level Platform Engineer on our clients Global Infrastructure team, specializing in Mac and Apple device management. The team is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of enterprise devices across their retail, distribution centre, and office environments, with a strategic focus on consolidating device management platforms, introducing Desktop-as-a-Service, and adopting an Infrastructure-as-Code approach to device management at enterprise scale. The core technical work centers on configuring and managing Apple devices through Jamf, supporting Windows environments via Microsoft Intune, and building automation through scripting and IaC tooling.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have an in office work environment with 4 days a week in office.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

4 to 7 years of experience in enterprise device management, with hands-on expertise in Jamf including zero-touch deployments, configuration profiles, smart groups, and OS lifecycle management.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra AD, Microsoft 365, and endpoint security practices, including security policy deployment and vulnerability management.
Experience with scripting languages including Bash, PowerShell, and Graph API to build and maintain custom automation.
Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and GitLab, with exposure to AI-assisted coding practices.
Experience working at enterprise scale across multiple stakeholder groups, with working knowledge of ITSM and ITIL processes using tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.

Compensation:
This role pays between $60-70 per hour.
