6-month contract Platform Engineer role with a global enterprise organization.

Gitlab SME with demonstrated experience managing Gitlab SaaS or Gitlab Self-Managed Platforms.
Global enterprise organization.
In office work environment with 4 days a week in office.

What & Why:
As a result of investment in technology our global enterprise organization is looking to add a Platform Engineer to their team. We are looking for a Gitlab SME with demonstrated experience managing Gitlab SaaS or Gitlab Self-Managed Platforms. In this role you’ll be responsible for designing, operating, and continuously improving the DevOps and CI/CD infrastructure that engineers across the enterprise rely on. The team owns GitLab as a strategic platform, with a focus on operational excellence, governance, and embedding AI-native capabilities into software delivery workflows. The core technical work centers on managing GitLab SaaS and Terraform Cloud at enterprise scale, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, developing Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks, and integrating AI-assisted tooling into engineering workflows. The role also carries platform ownership responsibilities including observability, on-call support, and driving self-service adoption through templates and automation.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

7+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles with deep hands-on expertise in GitLab SaaS and Terraform Cloud.
Experience as a Gitlab SME with demonstrated experience managing Gitlab SaaS or Gitlab Self-Managed Platforms.
Strong experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code, including policy as code and GitOps workflows.
Proven ability to own and operate high-availability production platforms end-to-end, with a strong focus on reliability and security.
Practical experience integrating AI-assisted tools into CI/CD, code review, and operational workflows.

Compensation:
This role pays between $80-90 per hour.
