Job Description

6-month contract Intune Platform Engineer working with the enterprise mobility team of a global organization.

6-month contract Platform Engineer role.
Working with a growing enterprise mobility team.
Primarily in office work environment with 4 days a week in office.

What & Why:
Due to growth we are looking to add a mid-to-senior level Platform Engineer on our clients Global Infrastructure team, specializing in Windows device management. The team is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of enterprise devices across their retail, distribution centre, and office environments, with a strategic focus on consolidating device management platforms, introducing Desktop-as-a-Service, and adopting an Infrastructure-as-Code approach at enterprise scale. The core technical work centers on configuring and managing Windows devices through Microsoft Intune, supporting endpoint security and compliance, and building automation through scripting and IaC tooling. The role requires close collaboration with network engineering, cybersecurity, and procurement stakeholders across a complex, multi-site enterprise environment.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have an in office work environment with 4 days a week in office.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

4 to 7 years of experience in enterprise device management with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Intune, including device lifecycle management, security policy deployment, and Windows OS upgrades.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra AD, Microsoft 365, and endpoint security practices including vulnerability management and zero-touch patching.
Experience with scripting languages including PowerShell, Bash, and Graph API to build and maintain custom automation.
Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and GitLab, with exposure to AI-assisted coding practices.
Experience working at enterprise scale across multiple stakeholder groups, with working knowledge of ITSM and ITIL processes using tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.

Compensation:
This role pays between $60-70 per hour.
