Entry Accounting - Data Entry Role

Express Employment Professionals, Delta/ Richmond, BC is hiring for Data Entry Specialist for the Accounting Department of our client company on Annacis Island. Our client is the Head Office location of an international company and is a leader in their specialty of the equipment industry. This will be working as part of really nice group in the Accounting department reporting under the Accounting Supervisor and Accounting Manager. This position will have social distancing measures put in place.

Responsibilities:
• Order entry processing
• Invoicing
• Resolve customer complaints
• Coordinate with sales staff on customer requirements and updates
• Set up new accounts and update existing accounts with changes
• Complete the entire sales order process from order entry through order invoicing
• Send all invoices daily via mail, email and EDI and filing all invoices accordingly
• Preparing and compiling shipping documents for all cross-border shipments
• Research and resolve issues or problems as needed
• Communicate with other departments to ensure that orders are processed as instructed by customer

Requirements:
* 1 year of sales order entry, invoicing or data entry experience and accounting course or experience would be an asset
* Detail-oriented; high accuracy
* Strong math or being able to calculate exchange rates
* general of understanding of accounting is an asset
* Customs or logistics - Bills of Lading paperwork experience is an asset

$19-22/ hour depending on experience. Benefits after probationary period/ evaluation period with Express; 1 month after start with client company.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30/ 8am to 4/ 4:30pm.
