Job Description

6-month Senior PowerBI developer contract with an enterprise organization who has made significant investments into analytics.

6-month Senior PowerBI Developer contract.
Enterprise organization with significant investment into PowerBI.
Primarily in office work, 4 days a week in office.

What & Why:
Due to a continued investment in analytics we are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join their data team, with a primary focus on PowerBI development and dataset migration. This is a senior-level position requiring 5+ years of data engineering experience. In this role you will lead the identification, design, and implementation of data integration, modelling, and orchestration processes across complex data environments. You will serve as the subject matter expert for data engineering within the team, driving best practices around PowerBI infrastructure and ensuring robust, well-documented solutions that can be maintained and scaled over time.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a primarily in-office work environment with 4 days a week in office.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

5+ years of data engineering experience, with advanced back-end PowerBI development skills including dataset architecture, data modelling, and performance optimization.
Advanced SQL proficiency for data transformation, pipeline development, and working within cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
Proven ability to lead the design and implementation of complex data integration, modelling, and orchestration processes end-to-end.

Compensation:
This role pays between $70-80 per hour.
