Job Description
- 6-month contract QA role focused on data and analytics.
- Delivering analytics for a large contact centre.
- Global enterprise organization with primarily in office work, 4 days a week in office.
As a result of investment in technology, we’re looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer, Data Platform to join the team and own quality across the data and analytics ecosystem within our clients call centre technology team. In this role, you'll design and execute test plans, validate end-to-end data pipelines, and provide QA sign-off on releases across their Snowflake-based data platform. Any experience with Service Cloud would be considered a serious asset. You'll work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency from ingestion through to reporting. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in agile environments and takes pride in making sure data people can trust reaches the people who need it.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and are primarily in office, 4 days a week on site.
You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- 5+ years experience in QA or testing for data platforms or analytics solutions, including functional, regression, and data validation testing across complex, multi-source environments.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud data tooling such as Azure Data Factory, with a strong understanding of ETL/data pipeline validation from ingestion through transformation and reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and defect investigation, with familiarity across tools such as Kafka, Streamlit, Cortex, and Salesforce Service Cloud (SFSC).
- Proven ability to identify, track, and manage defects through to resolution while collaborating effectively with engineering and data teams in agile delivery cycles.
This role pays between $60-74 per hour.
