Senior Tax Specialist – Public Practice (Canadian Tax Focus)

Our client is seeking a Senior Tax Specialist with Canadian public practice experience to deliver both compliance and advisory services to a diverse range of clients. This role is ideal for a technically strong CPA who enjoys complex tax work, client interaction, and career growth — without the formal title or responsibility of managing a team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring compliance while maximizing tax efficiency.
Conduct technical research and support planning strategies for both public and private companies.
Provide tax advisory services directly to clients, maintaining strong relationships and a high standard of client service.
Identify new opportunities to add value and support the firm’s growth initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

CPA designation (completed or in progress); specialization in Canadian tax is a strong asset.
Enrolled or willing to enroll in the CPA In-Depth Tax Program.
Proficiency in tax software and strong analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.
