Job Description

Our client is seeking a senior accountant with Canadian public practice experience. We are a dynamic firm of professional accountants. Our work primarily consists of tax, accounting and special engagements.

Senior Accountant

Location: Vancouver, BC

Salary: 75K - 95K

Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with accounting standards (e.g., ASPE, IFRS).
File corporate and personal tax returns, and provide tax planning advice.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for clients.
Advise clients on budgeting, cash flow, and business strategy.
Stay current with changes in tax laws and accounting standards.

Skills & Qualifications

CPA designation (or near completion).
Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., CaseWare, QuickBooks).
2+ Years experience of public practice accounting experience
Bilingual in Mandarin and/or Cantonese considered an asset
