Production Employee
Armstrong, British Columbia
Type: Casual On Call Position
Reporting to the Supervisor, production employees perform various labour duties contributing to manufacturing in a safe and efficient manner. This is an entry-level position with on the job training provided to successful candidates. Production employees will have the opportunity to apply for any internal opportunities that are available including apprenticeships and various leadership positions.
What We’re Looking For:
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
- Commitment to working safely coupled with strong communication & interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, in a physically demanding industrial environment;
- Strong problem solving skills;
- Ability to work independently with little supervision;
- Quality Control experience in a mill environment is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in a forest products environment considered an asset.
