Role Overview

Reporting to the Global Process Owner, HR, the Process Lead is responsible for the process, business analysis, and project management aspects of implementing the Contingent Workforce Management (CWM) module in our existing, live SAP SuccessFactors environment.

CWM is integral to enable Teck's implementation of SAP S/4 HANA, which is targeted to launch in 2027. This role will represent Teck and work in conjunction with counterparts from our system integrator. Candidates with CWM or equivalent experience are encouraged to apply.

To be successful, we are looking for someone with outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Having strong problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, and the ability to prioritize competing demands is critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.
  • Capture current business state, and incorporate standards/guidelines and recommendations from the contractor management system analysis as needed.
  • Coordinate process development, including gathering requirements, updating workbooks, and crafting process and governance documentation.
  • Support change management activities, help determine and engage collaborators, and facilitate training.
  • Be the conduit with the business to align on contractor type definitions, confirm functional requirements, build data strategy, coordinate data activities, and perform testing.
  • Evaluate and help mitigate compliance risks. Work with Legal and Audit teams as necessary.
  • Coordinate integrations with data consumers and any upstream/downstream systems.
  • Project management activities, including planning, project tracking, and coordinating business resources.
  • Work closely with the Technical & Data Analyst for CWM to understand process and build impacts on data and technical development. Coordinate engagement of business resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Technology, or other related field of study.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of business or project experience.
  • Proficient in clear and effective written and verbal communication.
  • Outstanding relationship-building skills.
  • Strong initiative, judgement, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to operate with very high levels of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrates Teck's dedication to safety and sustainability.
  • S/4 HANA or contingent work management experience is preferred
  • Spanish proficiency, including both written and spoken communication, is considered an advantage.

Pay Range: CAD $93,000 - $115,000 per year

The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
