6-month Oracle EBS Financials Business Analyst contract opportunity building out corporate financial systems with on site work in Vancouver

6-month contract Oracle EBS BA contract.

What & Why:
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst for our global client corporate finance systems team. In this role you’ll serve as the functional expert for the Oracle E-Business Suite Financials, supporting global retail finance systems across AP, AR, GL, FA, PO, and Costing modules. You'll partner with Finance and Technology teams to configure and maintain Oracle EBS, lead process improvement initiatives, document business requirements, and oversee testing activities including UAT cycles and defect management. Working across integrations with systems like Coupa, GTNexus, and Accruent, you'll conduct root-cause analysis, create functional specifications, and drive global standardization of finance processes. This role requires deep ERP expertise, strong retail finance knowledge, and the ability to bridge business needs with technical solutions.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

7-10+ years of business and systems analysis experience, with deep functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials or similar Tier-1 ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, JD Edwards).
Subject matter expertise in Oracle EBS Financials modules including AP, AR, GL, FA, PO, and Costing, with hands-on experience configuring and maintaining these modules.
Strong understanding of retail finance processes and proven ability to identify opportunities for process streamlining and global standardization across regions.
Experience leading QA and testing activities, including test planning, test script creation, UAT coordination, regression testing, and defect management (accounting certifications preferred).

Compensation:
This role pays between $75-80 per hour.
