Established 20 years ago, Hollyburn Community Services Society is a dynamic, non-profit community-driven agency that provides a continuum of holistic services across the North Shore of Metro Vancouver focused on at-risk youth, seniors, families, and those requiring victim support. Its service model is responsive to existing and emerging community social needs and vulnerabilities. Delivery of accessible housing support has become an area of increased emphasis in recent years.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for the overall strategic and operational leadership of this community responsive, people-centered, non-profit organization. The Executive Director oversees the delivery of HCSS’ vision, mission, and strategic priorities through the development and delivery of programs and services, financial sustainability, fund development, operations, and external communications. The Executive Director leads the development and nurturing of relationships with funders, government, volunteers, and community partners. The Executive Director stewards and supports the Board and leadership team to advance mission, vision, and impact.

This is an excellent opportunity for an innovative, community-driven leader dedicated to the non-profit sector, good governance, and organizational development. The ideal candidate for the position will have a demonstrated track record in leading and growing an organization in the non-profit, social service, and/or community service sectors with a minimum seven (7) years’ experience in a senior management position. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field supplemented by experience in team leadership, financial oversight, program and service delivery, and community engagement. Demonstrated knowledge of non-profit board governance, strategic planning, program development, accessible housing delivery and fund development is required. A combination of equivalent education and experience will be considered.

The salary range for the position is $140,000 to $150,00 per year, supplemented by a comprehensive total compensation plan. This is a full-time position.
