People often remark that the key to landing jobs with competitive companies is to have contacts within them. However, in reality, that may not always be the case. While a sizable network does come with its benefits, the lack of it does not necessarily mean that you can’t land a good role in a competitive company.

Knowing the right approach towards searching for a job can give you an edge over your competitors, even if you don’t know anyone in a competitive company. Here are a few tips that would help you stand out among the stream of candidates applying for roles at competitive companies.
