Job Description

Horizon Recruitment Inc. is conducting a search for a Treasury Analyst to join our large publicly traded client. This is a newly created role as they are growing the treasury function. We are looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience in either public practice or a treasury role with strong excel skills and a keen interest in treasury.

Responsibilities:

Lead various treasury functions including cash management strategies and liquidity and debt covenants reporting
Undertake administrator-responsibilities for global banking and ongoing maintenance of effective internal controls and procedures
Analyze and communicate financial information, ensuring reporting is reliable and understandable
Assist in the Company’s full-cycle accounting process including the preparation of monthly journal entries, GL reconciliations, and corporate head office monthly / quarterly financial reports
Facilitate Corporate’s intercompany process regarding intercompany loans, investments and cost reimbursements
Contribute to or lead long-term projects related to finance functions and systems
Support for other accounting and administrative functions as assigned

Requirements:

In possession of a recognized university degree with a specialization in accounting or business with at least two years of relevant work experience
Treasury and/or bank administration experience would be a plus but is not required
Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel to organize and summarize large amounts of data
An open and articulate communicator with strong analysis, presentation and written communication skills
An individual not afraid to bring forth innovative ideas and be considered an enabler who champions best practices to promote organizational effectiveness.
Demonstrates a commitment to quality performance, continual improvement, elimination of waste, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines
Capable of working independently and autonomously while at the same time contributes effectively as a member of the finance management team; considers themselves a major contributor in the achievement of operational and financial goals

Rewards:

$70,000-$75,000
