Job Description
- 6-month contract Project Manager role
- Exciting project work, opening new stores in Mexico
- Hybrid work environment in downtown Vancouver, 4 days a week in office.
What & Why:
Our client is investing majorly into global growth and is looking to add a project manager to their team to open new stores in Mexico. This role will be working within our clients Global Retail Engineering team, focused specifically on technology delivery for new store openings in Mexico, a new market entry for the organization. The role sits at the intersection of technology, construction, and retail operations, responsible for ensuring that store technology infrastructure is delivered on time, on budget, and operationally ready at launch. You will bring hardware delivery experience, strong vendor management skills, and fluency in Spanish.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work model, with 4 days a week in office.
You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- 3+ years of project management experience in a fast-paced environment, with a PMP certification or equivalent formal training, and a background in retail technology delivery
- Fluency in Spanish is required, with strong communication and facilitation skills to manage stakeholders across internal teams, vendors, and cross-functional partners at all levels
- Proven experience managing vendor relationships including SOWs, RFPs, and contracts, with the ability to oversee procurement processes and reconcile purchase orders and invoices
- Hands-on experience with hardware delivery and installation in a retail environment, with the ability to partner closely with engineers and architects to ensure technology readiness at cutover
