Senior Corporate Auditor
Internal Audit | Public Company Environment
Location: Richmond, BC
Travel: Up to 40% across Canada and the US
Work Model: Primarily in-office
The Opportunity
Our client is a complex, multi-entity organization operating across North America and is seeking a Senior Corporate Auditor to support a high-impact internal audit function.
This role offers broad exposure across finance, operations, acquisitions, and governance. It is well-suited for someone with strong audit fundamentals who enjoys partnering with the business and presenting value-added insights to senior leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and execute financial, operational, and business process audits across Canadian and US operations
- Perform risk assessments, testing, and end-to-end audit execution
- Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management
- Support audits of newly acquired businesses, including opening balance sheet reviews
- Assist with internal control documentation, policy development, and best-practice sharing
- Support compliance with corporate governance and internal control requirements
- Collaborate with Finance, Tax, IT, and external auditors during year-end and special engagements
- Contribute to audit planning and periodic reporting to senior leadership
What We’re Looking For
- CPA designation required
- 4+ years of experience in internal audit, public accounting, or a combination of both
- Experience in a public company or complex, multi-entity environment
- Strong understanding of internal controls, COSO, and risk-based auditing
- Comfortable leading audits and interacting with senior stakeholders
- Willingness to travel across Canada and the US (up to approximately 40%)
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or acquisitive organizations is an asset
