Job Description
Horizon Recruitment is recruiting for a Project Manager to support the successful delivery of business change initiatives for our utility client. This role plays a key part in driving projects forward by coordinating people, processes, and information to ensure milestones are achieved, risks are managed, and work is completed on time. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of business process change projects
- Monitor progress against milestones and budgets to ensure timely, on-target delivery
- Maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, action logs, and communication plans
- Coordinate team activities, resources, and schedules to meet project objectives
- Support project reporting, including status updates and post-implementation reviews
- Facilitate meetings, ensure effective communication, and escalate issues as needed
- Review documentation and processes to confirm alignment with project goals and standards
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve project performance or reduce risks
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure they’re informed and engaged
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
- Skilled in Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing deadlines
- PMP designation is an asset (in progress or completed)
- Experience with security-related projects is a plus
Remuneration
$58/hour
Only candidates eligible to work in Canada will be considered
