- Champion innovation by evaluating and applying new technologies, mining methods, and design approaches to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Serve as a Qualified Person/Competent Person, providing authoritative oversight for mineral reserve disclosure across diverse commodities and deposit types.
- Mentor and develop talent, guiding junior and intermediate professionals through technical reviews and career growth opportunities.
- Integrate globally, collaborating with WSP's Practice Area Network (PAN) to share knowledge and leverage international expertise for local solutions.
- Drive business growth, partnering with senior leaders to implement strategic initiatives and expand WSP's mining footprint across Canada and internationally.

- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in Canada, or eligibility to obtain it promptly.
- Deep technical expertise in mine design and scheduling, with hands-on proficiency in Deswik (CAD and Sched) and similar platforms.
- Ability to act as a Qualified Person/Competent Person, ensuring compliance with global reporting standards for mineral reserves.
- Direct operating site experience, bringing practical insights to design and execution strategies.
- Strategic mindset, with demonstrated success in business development and client engagement at senior levels.
- Exceptional technical writing and communication skills, enabling clear, persuasive reporting and stakeholder alignment.
- Proven ability to manage risk, balancing technical, financial, and operational considerations to deliver resilient outcomes.
