Your Impact
  • Design and guide the construction of mine waste containment systems that protect communities and ecosystems.
  • Lead geotechnical investigations, stability assessments, and field programs supporting safe mine operations.
  • Develop long-term tailings, waste, and water management strategies aligned with environmental and regulatory expectations.
  • Produce clear, data-driven technical deliverables, reports, and performance assessments.
  • Support compliance with environmental, geotechnical, and safety regulations across project sites.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams-including geology, water resources, closure, and project delivery-to drive integrated solutions.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • 5-7 years of experience in mine waste engineering, tailings, geotechnical, or related environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering; P.Eng. designation or eligibility.
  • Working knowledge of tailings dam design guidelines, geotechnical best practices, and CSA/ICMM/GISTM frameworks.
  • Ability to thrive in both office and field environments, including remote project sites in Canada or abroad.
  • Strong technical writing skills and comfort translating complex data into clear recommendations.
  • Adaptable, collaborative mindset with a commitment to safe and sustainable delivery.
    Preferred:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Knowledge of permitting processes and environmental regulatory requirements.
  • Experience contributing to project execution or guiding multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $98,800 - $130,800
MB & ON: $90,100 - $124,100
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $89,200 - $118,500
