What & Why:
A fast-growing industrial technology company is looking for a mid-to-senior Data Scientist to join their growing team to drive data operations in a production environment. This role is not meant for someone with a purely research and academic background.

Who:
Our client is a Canadian-founded tech company that has built a proprietary platform disrupting how industrial operators assess the integrity of their critical infrastructure. Backed by one of the world's largest private equity firms, they operate at the crossroads of advanced physics, machine learning, and engineering.
The position is fully-on site in the Greater Vancouver area.

You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist, with a clear track record of taking work to production
Computer vision experience is a major asset
Strong Python skills across data processing, computer vision pipelines, and visualization
Experience working with large, complex, and hierarchical datasets; comfortable outside of tabular data
Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to senior non-technical stakeholders, including VP and C-suite audiences
Familiarity with cloud data platforms

Compensation:
$100,000 to $150,000 + competitive incentive program.
