About the OpportunityThe City of Cranbrook has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Commercial Transport Mechanic, based in Cranbrook, BC.
Working in the City shop alongside other mechanics, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining company vehicles and at times, this position will also perform the duties of a Truck Driver/Labourer.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
To qualify for this role, you must have a Grade 12 Diploma or GED, as well as a minimum of 2 years of mechanic trades experience. A valid Class 3 BC Driver’s License with Air Endorsement is required (a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License with Air Endorsement will also be considered).

In exchange for your hard work and dedication, you will receive a highly competitive wage of $39.14 per hour (Pay Grade 9 - Schedule “B” Outside Employees), plus, additional pay per hour for the following qualifications:
