Accountant - $70K–$80K | Full-Time, In-Office | Surrey, BC
My client, a growing organization in the healthcare services sector, is seeking a hands-on Accountant to join their Surrey-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone enrolled in the CPA program who is looking for strong mentorship, professional growth, and a supportive environment with real work-life balance.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and maintain financial records, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Support the month-end close and financial reporting process
- Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Maintain internal controls and support audits and year-end reviews
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of corporate or industry accounting experience (BC-based preferred)
- Enrolled in the CPA Program (or near completion)
- Strong understanding of Canadian GAAP
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is an asset
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
