Our client, a growing and forward‑thinking public practice firm, is looking for a Tax Manager who is ready to take the next step in their tax career. Whether you’re an experienced Tax Manager or a strong Senior Tax Accountant ready for more responsibility, this role offers mentorship, advanced tax exposure, and a clear path to Senior Manager and beyond.

What You’ll Do
As a key member of the Canadian Tax team, you will:
- Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
- Support senior staff and Partners on tax planning, tax provisions, and advisory engagements.
- Assist in developing tax planning strategies for private enterprise clients.
- Participate in reorganizations, estate and succession planning, and business acquisitions/dispositions.
- Conduct technical research and contribute to tax planning recommendations.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver high‑quality tax service.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, learning‑focused team environment.
What You Bring
- CPA designation
- Strong Canadian tax experience within public practice 5+ years.
- In‑Depth Tax Course not required — but you must be committed to completing it (firm‑funded).
- Solid understanding of corporate and personal tax, with exposure to planning work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple engagements.
- A proactive, curious mindset and desire to grow into a senior leadership role.
