Job Description
- Technology Program Manager role with a global organization.
- Role focused on the technology piece of a full office buildout.
- Hybrid work available in Vancouver, 4 days a week onsite.
This role is focused on a single, high-priority initiative: the end-to-end technology delivery for a large-scale downtown Vancouver office buildout. In this role you’ll own end-to-end infrastructure delivery across network, low voltage, AV, desk technology, security, and asset management, partnering closely with construction, facilities, IT, and procurement teams to keep technology delivery aligned to construction schedules and milestones. From defining vendor strategy and managing SOWs to spending time on site validating implementation and resolving issues in real time, this role demands someone who is equally comfortable in a governance forum presenting to senior leaders as they are on the floor driving execution. This is a high-visibility program that requires deep infrastructure delivery experience, strong cross-functional coordination, and a passion for delivering world-class office environments on time and within budget.
Who:
This client is one of the most recognizable Canadian brands, a true Vancouver success story who has expanded globally. They are well known for their corporate culture and has won major awards for their accomplishments. They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment, 4 days a week on site.
You:
You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:
- 5+ years leading large, complex technology infrastructure programs in enterprise office environments, with hands-on experience delivering network, AV, end user devices, meeting room technology, and specialty spaces at scale.
- Demonstrated success managing technology delivery within construction-driven programs, with a strong understanding of construction workflows, critical paths, trade dependencies, and how to align technology milestones to shifting schedules.
- Deep vendor management experience including partnering with Procurement to lead RFIs, define SOWs, and negotiate contracts, alongside solid financial management skills with ownership of programs in the $5-10M+ range.
- Proven ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams including IT, facilities, construction, and senior leadership, with strong risk management skills and the ability to maintain delivery momentum under tight timelines and changing conditions.
This role pays between $70-78 per hour.
