6 month contract FinOps Program Manager working with the Cloud Infrastructure team of a global enterprise organization

Highly innovative program with a global enterprise organization.
Contract FinOps Program Manager role.
Hybrid work available in Vancouver, 4 days a week onsite.

What & Why:

As a result of growth our 100% cloud client, is looking for a FinOps Program Manager. In this role, you'll own the cloud cost management strategy across AWS and Azure, tracking optimization initiatives, identifying waste, and building consolidated views that give leadership a clear picture of where the organization is spending and where it can save. You'll work closely with Cost Analysts, SMEs, and Finance to surface spend trends, adjust forecasts, and translate data into actionable recommendations for cost center owners across the business.

They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment, 4 days a week on site.

You:

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

5+ years of project/program management experience with a focus on cloud cost management.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; able to align engineering, finance, and executive stakeholders.
Solid FinOps knowledge, including cost optimization, chargeback/showback models, and cloud spend forecasting.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Compensation:

This role pays between $75-90 per hour.
