Job Title: Financial Controller

About The Role
This role leads the finance function for a fast‑growing company in the cannabis accessories industry, operating in a high‑volume, multi‑product environment. You’ll oversee day‑to‑day accounting while shaping long‑term financial strategy and operational excellence. It’s a hands‑on leadership position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial setting.
What You’ll Do
- Lead full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
- Oversee core accounting functions including billing, A/R, A/P, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and process improvements to support scalable growth.
- Provide financial insights, variance analysis, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
What We’re Looking For
- CPA‑designated finance leader with 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including reporting, budgeting, and analytics.
- Strong understanding of cost and inventory accounting within a wholesale, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- A collaborative, hands‑on leader who can mentor a small team and operate effectively in a dynamic, high‑growth environment.
