Senior Financial Analyst

FP&A role with a global company known for it’s dynamic culture and high performing, fun-loving workforce. Well-rounded portfolio including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, making presentations to leadership, business decision support, scenario analysis, etc. Using an ERP and a planning tool. Designation required (CPA, CFA, CMA, ACCA, etc.). Hybrid work schedule (3 days in-office), based in Greater Vancouver.

What- the Role:
Senior Financial Analyst, reporting to the Controller and working alongside a Financial Analyst. There is a separate accounting team and a financial systems team. This is a well-rounded FP&A role involving financial modeling, consolidated budgeting, short-range and long-range forecasting, scenario analysis, business decision support, and KPI analysis. The Sr FA will be someone who can “tell the story behind the numbers” and make presentations and recommendations based on analytical findings. The Sr FA will be using an ERP, a planning tool, and Google Sheets for their data extraction and analysis. Who- the Candidate:
We are seeking a well-rounded Financial Analyst with at least 4 years of progressive and relevant FP&A experience. An accounting designation is required, as is experience using an ERP and a planning system. Experience working with a global company and/or a company with an International parent company is beneficial. Experience in tech and/or manufacturing sectors is highly preferred.

Where:
Burnaby- a good driving commute for folks in living in Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, New Westminster, Vancouver. Plenty of on-site parking. 3 days-a-week in-office with option to work from home or the office the other 2 days of the week.

How Much:
Range on the base salary is around $94,000 to $104,000, plus an attractive profit-sharing plan that is paid out on a quarterly basis (after a 6 month wait period).
