This is a fantastic opportunity to join this exciting and growing company! The Director of Finance is looking to hire a new Accountant for the tight-knit accounting & finance team. This is a diverse role spanning accounts payable, corporate accounting, operational accounting, and junior-level financial analysis.  SWIM will provide interested candidates with a detailed job description.  

We are seeking someone who aligns well with the culture and values of this company. Qualified candidates will have at least 2+ years and ideally 4+ years of full-cycle accounting work experience. Long-term pursuit of CPA designation is preferred.

Ideally candidates will have experience using an ERP, intermediate level Excel skills (v look-ups, pivot tables, etc.), and some experience with GoogleSheets.

Great candidates for this role will be team players who are curious, collaborative, deadline-oriented, eager to learn, and who truly want to produce high quality accounting work.  

The company is headquartered in Burnaby and they also have operations in a few other countries. The Accountant must be based in Greater Vancouver. After 3 weeks of training, the Accountant can start to work from home a couple days a week.

During the contract portion, SWIM will be paying the Accountant an hourly rate commensurate with experience, skills, and education- likely in the range of $25 to $35 an hour. If/when this role converts to permanent, the salary will be in the range of $52,000 to $78,000, plus this company also provides an RRSP match, excellent health benefits, and a good amount of paid time off!
