Senior Accountant (Contract)
Location: Vancouver – In-office
Duration: 3-month contract (potential to extend)
Compensation: $45–$50/hour
My client, a growing SaaS company based in Vancouver, is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to step in immediately and support the finance team during a key transition period.
This role will act as a right hand to the Controller, taking ownership of core accounting functions and helping ensure stability in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Lead month-end close (journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis)
- Manage billing, accounts receivable, and collections
- Support revenue recognition in a SaaS environment
- Work within NetSuite and help improve processes and workflows
- Support payroll and day-to-day accounting operations
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams
- CPA (or near completion)
- Strong full-cycle accounting experience
- Experience in SaaS or tech environments preferred
- NetSuite experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and operate with minimal direction
- In-office role
- Immediate start required
- Opportunity to extend or transition longer term
