About the Role

A well-established public practice firm is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. If you enjoy working in a family-like culture who enjoys a variety of work in a well supported environment, then this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do:

Lead and prepare Compilation, Review, and Audit engagements
Prepare corporate, trust, and personal tax returns
Assist with tax planning and estate planning projects
File GST and other statutory returns
Prepare T3s, T4s, T5s and other compliance filings
Liaise directly with clients and support junior team member

What You Bring:

CPA designation with 7+ years of experience in public practice
A passion for assurance and tax
Strong owner-managed businesses and Canadian-controlled private corporations
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work independently with high level of attention to detail
Proficiency in CaseWare, Profile, Jazzit, Quickbooks and Sage 50
