Job Summary

Contribute your valued expertise in strategy, design and service delivery to this fast-paced opportunity

Network Connectivity Services manages the Shared Provincial Access Network, which is comprised of building connectivity, remote connectivity, and shared network infrastructure. This role works with the Service Management Team in support of the end-to-end provisioning of the Province's Shared Provincial Access Network (SPAN/BC) infrastructure. Oversees all aspects of the service management life cycle, including strategic planning, service development, service level management, vendor relationship management, and client engagement.

Job Requirements:
  • Certificate or higher in IM/IT or related field; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience in the IM/IT field may be considered.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience providing business analysis, conducting systems training, documenting user support documentation, client communications, analyzing data, documenting, and improving business processes.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (e.g., SharePoint, Skype, Teams, Exchange) and Unified Communications. Preference may be given to candidates with experience using Skype and/or Teams.


Preference may be given to applicants with:
  • Experience negotiating contracts and managing IM/IT contracted services.
  • Experience using My Service Centre.
  • Experience using JIRA.
