Job Description

A successful, reputable and dynamic law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation LAA for a 1-year contract to join their established legal team. This is a fantastic role that will provide professional growth while working with a team of exceptional legal professionals.

Who- the Company:
Our client is a downtown Vancouver law firm with origins dating back to the 1960s. They are a team of diverse talents, capable of providing clients with first-rate service for legal issues.

What- the Role:
This is a full-time, 12 month maternity leave contract position that has the possibility of an extension. The successful candidate will be assisting a Senior Partner and two associates who practice primarily in the areas of civil litigation matters. SWIM can provide a more detailed job description to interested candidates.

Who- the Candidate:
On behalf of our client, SWIM is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented legal admin professional with 3-5 years of previous legal administration experience. The successful candidate will ideally have a Legal Administrative certificate from a recognized program and previous experience in civil litigation and trial preparation. Excellent technical skills with systems such as ESILaw, Net Documents, and Microsoft Office Suite.

How Much:
Base salary in the range of $65,000 to $75,000, commensurate with level of skills, qualifications, and experience. Benefits and paid time off will be provided upon completing the 3 month probationary period.

Where:
The organization is based in Vancouver, very close to rapid transit. This is a full-time in-office role.
