Role Overview

Reporting to Manager Global Business Process Design, the Business Analyst, ERP is responsible for driving the analysis, design, and implementation of an enterprise-wide business process led ERP, ensuring alignment with strategic (blueprint) objectives, optimization of processes, and enabling effective decision-making across the organization

This is an initial 12-month contract to start with possibility of extension based on program needs.

Responsibilities

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Liaise with multi-functional teams, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of business needs and facilitating effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in project activities including, but not limited to analysis/research of needs, gathering, documenting and updating business outcomes and conduct information gathering sessions.
  • Analyze current processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to align with the enterprise operating model. Design to-be processes for the enterprise.
  • Use data-driven insights to support decision-making, ensuring that the operating model is based on accurate and relevant information.
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of business processes using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation), business requirements, and any changes made during the implementation phase.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful delivery of the operating model.
  • Enable global business process owners to develop, measure and improve their processes.
  • Work with the Enterprise Architecture and technology teams to relay process intent and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the organizational readiness and global process owners to understand the requirements of roles and people as part of process implementation and management.
  • Encourage change management efforts, ensuring smooth transition and adoption of the new operating model by providing training and support.
  • Work closely with key partners to prioritize requirements and communicate unique messages effectively to diverse audiences.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or post-graduate diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in analyzing, optimizing and documenting business processes, preferably using BPMN.
  • Familiarity with Mining or Natural Resources industry is an asset, specifically in areas of mining, processing, asset management and operational processes.
  • Project experience in complex environments, including multi-functional, international, or cross-organizational teams and partners across multiple locations.
  • Experience working in Transformation teams. ERP (SAP S4 HANA) project experience preferred.
  • Experience with business and enterprise architectural blueprinting preferred.
  • Experience with SAP's Signavio Process Manager preferred (or a competitor process management tool suite).
  • Experience with Lean and Sig Sigma methodologies is helpful.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, problem-solving abilities and deep proficiency with business analysis techniques.
  • Familiarity with standard BA tools, ERP systems, and process modeling software.
  • Systems-centric approach to drive integration between initiatives and the enterprise.
  • Clear communications including the ability to handle and resolve conflicts.
  • Excels in a team setting; able to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and work within the project's scope simultaneously.
  • Ability to interpret sophisticated data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Able to identify the appropriate internal SMEs, influence senior participants and empower a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Proficient at interacting with and overseeing partner expectations.
  • Capable of identifying risks to develop and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Knowledge of change management principles and practices to support transition efforts.

Pay Range: CAD $null - $null per year

The actual amount offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
