OBJECTIVES 

 We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Accounts Receivable team with daily tasks such as recording payments, reconciling accounts, responding to customer requests, and making collections inquiries. Your responsibilities will also include liaising with customer support and sales teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

• Maintain an accurate aging report and reconcile A/R balance to G/L
• Record payments to customer accounts, and follow up on any discrepancies
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly accounts receivable reports, including but not limited to, accounts receivable aging, cash receipts, commissions, and invoice registers
• Reconcile customer accounts as necessary
• Perform monthly reconciliations of other receivable accounts, investigate discrepancies as necessary
• Create credit memos as required
   

OTHER RELATED DUTIES

• Assist in the collection of accounts through correspondence by telephone, e-mail, letters, and statements
• Customer account maintenance
• Respond to customer inquiries over phone and email
