Job Description

Southern Interior Construction Association is a non-profit membership-based organization representing companies in the Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial construction sector. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Bookkeeper / Administrator is responsible for:

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Bookkeeping – full cycle of recording financial transactions up to the financial statements which includes:

Accounts payable, accounts receivables (billing, collections); reconcile financial records; journal entries; bank deposits and reconciliations; GST and PST filing; yearend financial working papers.

Administrative Functions

Membership management

Responsible for the accuracy and updating of all member information in database; assist with renewing current memberships; follow up with new, potential and resigned members; prepare and send out membership kits

Member service

Reception tasks in taking phone calls and assisting members with requests.
General administrative duties, or other duties assigned.
At least three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience;
Knowledge of SAGE50 software;
Strong command of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint);
Highly detail oriented; ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
