Express Employment Professionals Delta/ Richmond office is recruiting for light production workers for our client in Richmond, BC. Our client, is one of North America's largest exclusively owned produce distributor. Job description:
We are seeking candidates to fill 4 positions for food processing and packing.
This role will perform routine tasks in a very fast-paced processing plant.
Grading and packaging of vegetables
Stacking of boxes up to 40 lbs/ box - lifting regularly
Light cleaning
Desirable candidates are able to as part of a team, with limited supervision, and must be highly organized and detail oriented.
Requirements:
Great hand-eye coordination and speed
Must have steel toe work boots
Candidates must be able to safely lift up to 10-30lbs.
Must have flexible availability
Able to work in a cold environment (3 Degrees)
Position offers:
40 hours a week, must be available to work weekends (4 week days and 1 weekend day or be available both days on the weekend)
Rotating shifts which will be assigned by supervisor for each week: 8am to 4:30 pm / 9am to 5:30 pm / 10am to 6:30 pm – may have OT during holiday season
Transit accessible
This is a holiday but also looking for permanent suitable employees to be hired by our client company.
Pay rate: $17.85 /hour, June 1st $18.25
