Our transformation risk and advisory practice focuses on assisting clients that are going through large transformations ($100 mil - $5 bil) by providing services that cover transformation strategy, transformation risk management, transformation program management or other related services. The core focus of this team is to work with clients that are going through large transformation programs and help them make these programs successful. We bring an integrated people, process and technology approach to these projects and support the client from "strategy to execution" with their transformation program. Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Transformation Risk & Advisory, Program Management Office, Senior Manager , you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Designing and implementing program governance and program management strategies
• Assisting in rolling out leading practice program management services like benefits realization, quality assurance, decision management, document management etc.
• Leading the design and set up for PMO , d eveloping and executing program and project assurance strategies and plans , and d elivering large complex programs or projects
• Working with and presenting to senior program leadership within large scale program s
• Leading responses to client proposals and drive impactful conversations with senior client leaders
• Pursue opportunities to develop existing and new skills outside of comfort zone
• Gathering evidence from the environment you are working in, interpreting and recommending improvements to clients and creat ing positive outcomes for all parties
• Coaching others and encourage them to take ownership of their development
• Stay abreast of key industry developments both within Canada and globally
• Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• Extensive experience within Transformation Implementation that includes:
• Leading implementations of large complex system/transformation initiatives
• Drive the design and setup of PMO and rolling out the necessary governance and operational processes to manage the program
• Leading performance of project assessments , health checks and program gateway reviews
• Managing a program management team to deliver the PMO functions aligned with the desig ned governance and management controls
• End to end delivery with e nterprise systems, major transformations, restructuring of an organization or leading large scale transformation initiatives .
• Certified Project Manager (PMI PMBOK, APM BOK, PRINCE2, MSP, MoR , Agile, or Benefit Realization)
• Understanding of core project management process area (IT governance, quality assurance, or SDLC), project management software/tool, and/or ERP or industry specific application
• Prior consulting experience and a strong understanding of how consulting organizations work and have taken part in the sales cycle
• Self-motivated to begin and continue tasks committed to achieving project goals
• Proven leadership skill with ability to build solid and collaborative relationships with team members, foster a productive teamwork environment, and leverage diverse views
• Ability to develop and manage strategic client relationships while providing the highest quality client work
• Ability to effectively negotiate, problem solve , and influence through verbal and written communications
• Strong abilities to write and deliver proposals to prospective clients
• As a requirement, a Security Clearance is mandatory for all staff who'll be engaged on these assignments. The salary range for this position is $128,900 - $178,900 . T he posted salary range r epresents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is d etermined by your skills, experience, q ualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to p articipate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements . W e are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
