About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Delta, BC on a permanent, full-time basis. 

Reporting to senior leadership, this role oversees a team of buyers and analysts and is accountable for driving end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and timely material availability within a fast-paced aviation environment.

More specifically, your main duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading procurement, logistics, inventory, and material distribution processes
  • Managing daily stock replenishment to support production turnaround targets
  • Aligning supply chain activities with internal stakeholders and strategic business goals
  • Monitoring and optimizing vendor performance, including negotiation and contract management
  • Coaching and supporting a unionized team, ensuring effective people management and communication
  • Driving supply chain process improvements and cost efficiencies
  • Maintaining compliance with aviation industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Developing and managing long-term demand planning and inventory strategies
  • Reviewing systems and implementing best practices across purchasing and inventory
  • Creating and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain performance
  • Supporting production integration, financial goals, and continuous operational improvements
More About You

To qualify, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 3 years of management experience in supply chain or logistics. A minimum of 7 years in an operations environment within the aviation industry will also be essential.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Experience in the aviation industry, particularly MRO or OEM environments
  • Proven track record managing unionized employees
  • Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills
  • Familiarity with aviation regulatory compliance and export controls
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems and supply chain technologies
