We are currently seeking casual/on-call Event Security Officers to join our growing team in the Okanagan. Supervisory, and team lead roles are also available. We have something for everyone! Shifts are typically in the evenings and on weekends and would pair well with a full-time job to offer some supplemental income. Some of the roles we are looking to fill are:
• Stage front Security
• Security Roamers
• Backstage and Loading Bay Security
• Access Control Security
• Security Supervisors
• Event Staff Supervisors
• Ticket Scanners
• Ushers
• Medics

Responsibilities
• Control access at entries, restricted areas, backstage, and VIP sections
• Conduct bag checks as per venue policy
• Monitor crowd behavior and address safety concerns proactively
• Respond to disorderly conduct, intoxication, or suspicious activity - escalate to supervisor
• Support emergency procedures and maintain clear evacuation routes
Qualifications
• BC Security License
• Valid Basic First Aid Training
• Advanced First Aid Training required for First Aid Staff
• Advanced Security Training or willing to obtain
• Have prior experience with events
• Provide exceptional customer service with an exceptional smile
• Have strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Are eligible to work in Canada
• Are in need of supplemental income

Education Requirements (All)

High School Diploma/GED

Certification Requirements (All)

Valid BC Security Licence
First Aid, CPR Level C
