Job Description

West Fraser offers a range of exciting career opportunities for individualsseekingchallenging and rewardingcareers. Williams Lake Plywood Division is currently recruitingfor Log Scaler - Weighmaster position.

You'll Do:
  • Scaling and log quality assessments in all weather conditions.
  • In scale weighmaster, stratification.
  • Participation the accuracy of the log yard inventory, and waste and residue field surveys.
  • Other duties as assigned, including some aspects of purchase wood and loader operation.

You'll Have:
  • BC Scaling License
  • Self-motivated and team oriented.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • Class 5 driving license.
  • We are looking for individuals who are interested in career advancement for progression through various aspects of our core business.

Williams Lake is situated in the heart of the Cariboo region of British Columbia, approximately 545 km northeast of Vancouver. Compensation Package:
  • Wage and Benefit package as per Steel workers union agreement.
  • Benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays.
