West Fraser offers a range of exciting career opportunities for individuals seeking challenging and rewarding careers. Quesnel Plywood is currently recruiting for a Weekend Clean-up General Labourer position.

You'll Do:

Required to remove wood waste and other debris from within and around equipment and dispose of it in the hog.
Entering into equipment and removing debris manually using tools like shovels and rakes and sometimes by hand.
Use compressed air or water hoses to aid in cleaning equipment where entering the equipment is not possible or adequate cleanup requires these extra measures.
Cleaning hydraulic tanks
performing fire watch activities (monitoring welding and other hot work to ensure a fire does not occur and to immediately address any incipient fires that start as the result of hot work

You have:

Desire to learn, grow, and succeed
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and crew-building skills
The flexibility to work all shifts or weekend clean-up.
Valid driver’s license

Compensation Package:

The hourly pay rate for this position will be $34.86
