The successful applicant will possess pipefitter trade certification. Additional cross-trades certification is an asset as well as willingness to broaden their exposure to a complete variety of mechanical work as required. Quesnel River Pulp welcomes job flexibility and enrichment: employees often develop new skills, work closely with other departments, and take responsibility for areas or systems.

Demonstrated competence within the trade, troubleshooting skills, and experience in any of the following is an asset:
  • Chemical Handling
  • Welding and Burning
  • Fire Protection Systems
  • Class-A Gas Fitting
  • Plumbing
  • Insulating

The successful applicant will be required to work shifts when assigned. Attention to safety, quality, work ethic, and efficiency as well as a valid BC driver’s license are necessary.
