Job Description

Custom woodwork shop specializing in modern commercial and residential interior millwork package is looking for an experienced Millwork Benchman with skills and experience in wood joinery, machining, assembly and veneering.   

This is an intermediate level position with a range of breakout, machining and assembly responsibilities. Ideally you have experience working with solid wood, wood composites and veneer in addition to formal training in joinery (preferably through an apprenticeship or post-secondary program). You will have 2-3 years of experience using joinery skills in a millwork/custom woodwork operation. 

To be successful in this position you need to be an organized, reliable individual that can read detailed drawings and also operate precision production equipment. On a daily basis you will be working with shop drawings that are accurate but intricate. To maintain established quality standards you must have an eye for detail and proven math skills to interpret project specifications. To meet production requirements you will need to produce and assemble project components in a efficient, safe and timely manner.  

An attractive compensation package, including benefits, is offered to be reviewed annually based on performance. You will work in a stable, organized work environment with a great production team.

This is a full time permanent position with steady full time hours Monday to Friday.
