Position Overview
Microserve is looking for a Marketing Business Partner to join our Marketing Team. If you are looking to join a thriving business, play a key role in demand generation, and grow in your career, this is the job for you!
As a Marketing Business Partner, you will partner with assigned Microserve business units to define and execute a comprehensive, end-to-end marketing plan to support the success of that business unit. These marketing plans will build brand awareness and interest and identify new qualified prospects for the specific lines of business. You will employ a range of tactics and strategies to achieve our Marketing objectives as well as build and execute programs to nurture our sales leads.
Your skills will set the stage identifying new opportunities to engage customers in our selling cycle. The successful candidate should be motivated to work independently doing B2B demand generation activities and devise new marketing strategies to develop new business in assigned key focus service areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Unit Partnership

Work closely with business unit leaders and subject matter experts to understand their service and solution offering, as well as their target market and vendor partners

Develop and execute against comprehensive, multi-touch marketing plans for each assigned business area with input from all stakeholders
Campaign Management

Develop and execute creative and impactful marketing campaigns and messaging to advance business objectives

Track and analyze campaign results and incorporate lessons learned into future campaigns and tactics to continuously improve and optimize

Research markets, identify key targets, and generate interest within prospective clients

Develop a strong understanding of Microserve’s solutions and services and value proposition, in particular the identified key focus services, to effectively build a pipeline of prospective clients for the Sales team

Create and plan email campaigns using Hubspot and Zoominfo to optimize results

Create content to support campaign and events such as, but not limited to, presentation, tradeshow slides, internal documents (sales enablement, competitive analysis).

Document all campaign strategies and prepare all promotional activities

Be an expert in our vendor’s supporting marketing resources and incorporate into your campaign strategy

Partner with outside marketing agencies as appropriate to augment your marketing activities
Lead Generation and Lead Nurture

Develop and execute email marketing programs to increase MQLs for assigned business units

Create targeted and optimized content to generate awareness and drive net new qualified leads
-
Use best practices Social Media tactics to support lead generation efforts

Create workflows using marketing automation tools to ensure continuous flow of net new leads

Research and identify target industry tradeshows and events and make recommendations

Research markets and competitors to identify new opportunities for growth in key focus areas

Research new and emerging technologies/services from vendors and competitors

Create target customer lists using CRM, Zoominfo, LinkedIn and Hubspot

Work with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure alignment on target/guest lists for campaigns and events

Ensure to update our CRM tool in a timely manner
KPI Reporting

Maintain all data and update management systems for various campaigns

Understand and interpret lead generation data (metrics, target market data) to anticipate courses of action

Understand and adhere to the KPI's that highlight operational efficiencies and marketing effectiveness

Prepare campaign and lead tracking reports to better understand ROI and how to improve results
Sales Liaison & Collaboration

Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to identify the right contacts for various marketing campaigns based on target firmographics and strategic industry segments

Work with marketing manager and content specialists to develop marketing campaigns and content to increase awareness and drive leads.

Coordinate/liaise with internal clients (Sales leaders, AMs, SMEs) and service lines to plan and fabricate marketing campaigns
Requirements:
-
Minimum 5-years' experience in B2B, Information Technology marketing
-
Relevant post-secondary education or degree in Marketing or similar is preferred
-
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning specific to B2B marketing and information technology

Experience in running successful B2B marketing campaigns

Proven track record of lead generation and nurturing skills

Excellent Project Management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to communicate with confidence and in a timely manner to C-level clients/internal staff members, both written and verbally

Strong IT acumen and the ability to understand and articulate our solutions and value proposition is a must!

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with CRM tools and Marketing Automation platforms

Ability to take initiative and be professional with customer interaction

Organized and able to prepare and present tracking reports

Ability to track and achieve KPI and data driven results

Ability to prioritize and maintain lead follow ups throughout the sales cycle

Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

Go-getter attitude with ability to work independently or as a team
Compensation: In accordance with the BC Pay Transparency Act the range for this role for BC residents is $70,000 - $82,000 annually. Please note, while the pay range of the role is listed here, this position’s salary is non-negotiable based on geographical market. Your exact salary is determined based on a combination of your relevant experience, skill, competencies, and internal pay equity.
