The preferred location for this role is our Vancouver office. Other WSP locations in British Columbia will be considered.
Your Impact
- Lead as Project Manager and/or Process-Mechanical Lead acting as Professional of Record and Qualified Professional for municipal wastewater treatment projects.
- Deliver planning, design, construction, and commissioning phases with precision, ensuring compliance with WSP's Professional Practice Management Plan.
- Provide technical direction and foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to achieve project excellence.
- Mentor junior and intermediate staff, cultivating a culture of learning and innovation.
- Drive client engagement and strategic business development, contributing to proposals and building lasting relationships.
- Champion sustainability and creativity in wastewater treatment solutions, leveraging WSP's global expertise.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and quality assurance processes to ensure successful project delivery.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering; advanced degrees preferred.
- Professional Engineer registration in BC (other provinces an asset).
- 15+ years of progressive experience in municipal wastewater treatment plant planning, design, and construction, with 5+ years in consulting.
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, permitting, and advanced treatment processes.
- Proficiency in wastewater modelling tools (BioWin, GPS-X, SUMO) and design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM, Revit, Plant 3D).
- Proven leadership in project management and mentoring, with experience in business development and client relations.
- Ability and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.

Compensation
BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT: $122,900 - $162,800
MB & ON: $112,100 - $154,400
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $111,000 - $147,400
